Regulatory Framework

All cognacs are produced under the Appellation d'Origine Controlee Grande Champagne designation, regulated by the Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac (BNIC). The estate holds all required production, ageing, and distribution licences issued by the relevant French authorities.

Certifications and Accreditations

Distillation and Ageing Licences

Maison Croizet holds current licences for the distillation and maturation of eaux-de-vie, issued and periodically inspected by the Direction Generale des Douanes et Droits Indirects (DGDDI). The estate is registered with the BNIC as an approved operator within the Grande Champagne premier cru.

Quality and Export Compliance

Products are manufactured in compliance with European Union food-safety regulations and are certified for export to all major international markets. Packaging and labelling conform to the requirements of each destination country, including TTB (United States), LCBO (Canada), and equivalent bodies worldwide.

Environmental Responsibility

The estate participates in the Cognac appellation's collective environmental initiatives and follows sustainable viticulture practices as defined by the Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) framework.

Labelling, Traceability, and Intellectual Property

Product Labelling

Every bottle carries a conformity label detailing the appellation, age designation, volume, and alcoholic strength in accordance with EU Regulation 2019/787. Lot codes enable full traceability from vineyard parcel to finished product.
